GRAND PRAIRIE -- Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of a 17-year-old man in a brawl outside the YMCA on Memorial Day.
Fort Worth police arrested Rheashad Lamar Lott, 20, at about 4 a.m. Wednesday on a shoplifting charge, Grand Prairie police said.
He was turned over to Grand Prairie police who booked him on charges of aggravated assault. He was being held Wednesday morning in the Mansfield jail. Bail had not yet been set.
The unidentified victim is still reported in very serious condition after being shot in the face, Grand Prairie police Lt. John Brimmer said.

The brawl erupted about 3 p.m. Monday.
Police said it appears one group of teenagers was playing basketball at the YMCA in the 4500 block of South Carrier Parkway when another group of teenage boys arrived and a fight broke out.
