A man in Arlington put up a struggle Thursday, but officers managed to arrest him in connection with the sexual assault Monday of a woman at a park.
Ismael Moreno, 43, was being held Friday at the Arlington jail with bail set at $2,000, according to jail records.
Charges included evading arrest, resisting a search and sexual assault. There is also an immigration hold on him, the records state.
Moreno is suspected in the sexual assault of a woman who was walking in the H.A.D. Dunsworth Park about 10:30 p.m. Monday, police said. The woman said a naked man attacked her near the playground, police said.

Police had been searching the area for the man, who was spotted again at about 2:50 a.m. Thursday, said Lt. Blake Miller, police spokesman.
"Arlington officers working in conjunction with one of our Citizen on Patrol Groups were out on foot in the area," Miller said. "The officers saw the suspect and he fled on foot.
"The suspect was chased down and resisted the officers' attempts to handcuff him."
Moreno gave a confession to police Thursday night, Miller said. A mugshot of the suspect, however, was unavailable Friday morning because "photo lineups still need to be done," Miller said.
