A benefit dinner and Gospel music concert is 6 p.m. today for the family of Katelan Baker, 15, who died Sunday when her car was struck by an Amtrak passenger train near downtown Rio Vista.
The event will be held at the Rio Vista Community Center, 201 Texas 174.
Barbecue sandwiches and desserts will be sold, followed by a 7 p.m. Gospel music concert.
After the benefit, a candlelight vigil will be held in front of of Rio Vista High School, 100 Eagle Drive.

A fund has also been established at Wells Fargo Bank, according to officials at the high school. Donations can be any at any Wells Fargo branch in the name of Katelan Baker.
