Two men died early Wednesday when several other men burst into a home and opened fire, also wounding a third man, in the Oak Cliff area of south Dallas, according to reports.
It was one of two fatal shootings overnight in Oak Cliff, according to reports.
In the most recent episode, the two men were killed about 4 a.m. at a home in the 3000 block of June Drive, which is northeast of the intersection of South Westmoreland Road and West Illinois Avenue.
"This is believed to be a robbery of a possible drug house since narcotics were found in the house," said Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse, police spokesman.

Janse said the shooters may have been gang members "based on suspects' clothing and other identifiers."
But, he added, "that cannot be confirmed."
The names of the victims were still being withheld at 2 p.m. because their families had not yet been notified, said a spokeswoman at the Dallas County medical examiner's office.
In the earlier case, a man was fatally shot and two others were wounded shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday in front of an apartment complex the 4300 block of Woodhollow Drive, according to police reports.
Police said the man who died was Broderick Gaines, 19, who lived at the apartment complex. It was a gang-related shooting, police reports said.
The neighborhood is just north of Dallas Executive Airport, formerly called Red Bird Airport.
