GRAPEVINE — A 65-year-old truck driver was taken to the hospital after the 18-wheeler he was driving plowed into cars parked at a Macaroni Grill Restaurant about 4 p.m, police said.
The man was taken to Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine. His condition and identity were not released. No one else was injured.
Westbound Texas 114 was shut down briefly but had reopened by 5 p.m. The restaurant has temporarily shut down, police said.
Police say they don't know what caused the man to veer his rock-hauling truck off westbound highway 114, over the access road and into the parking lot.
