Kelly Turner defeated W.E. "Bill" Atchley to win the Kennedale City Council Place 4 seat tonight.
Turner had 86 percent of the vote (185). Atchley had 14 percent (30).
Incumbent Mayor Bryan Lankhorst and incumbent Place 2 councilman David Green ran unopposed and will keep their seats until 2010.
In Kennedale schools, Lori Glovier and Eddie Patterson were leading for the two at-large seats with two of six precincts reporting. Glovier had 38 percent of the vote, Patterson 32 percent.

Ramona Smith and Greg Mahnesmith were also running.
In Dalworthington Gardens Place 2 city alderman race, Cathy Stein was leading in early vote totals with 42.8 percent of the vote compared to Guy Snodgrass with 35.7 percent
Incumbent Mayor Michael Tedder and incumbent Place 1 councilman Mike Pettke ran unopposed and will keep their seats until 2010.
In the Pantego Place 2, Michael C. Robertson was beating Nancy A. Tice with 70.0 percent of the early vote.
In Place 3, Melody Paradise was beating Don Surratt with 77.6 percent of the vote. The winner in this race will replace Bill Brown, who did not run for re-election.
Incumbent Place 1 councilman Duane Smith ran unopposed and will keep his seat until 2010.
