Motorcyclist killed in Fort Worth crash

A motorcycle rider was killed Friday night and two people in a car were hospitalized after a collision at the intersection of East Berry Street and Edgewood Terrace South in far southeast Fort Worth, police said.

The wreck occurred shortly before 8 p.m. in the 4600 block of East Berry.

The force of the collision caused the car to catch fire, and pieces of the motorcycle and car were still scattered along East Berry more than an hour later.

The occupants of the car were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Cpl. Ray Wilson said.
