A gas-field worker died Monday night in a one-vehicle accident in Parker County, authorities said.
Thomas Seth Davis, 24, was pronounced dead in a pasture at 7:19 p.m. after he was thrown from his pickup in the 2300 block of Dennis Road, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner.
Davis was driving south on Dennis Road in a 2000 Chevrolet truck when he veered left, then overcorrected. He hit a ditch and two fences on the right side of the road, according to a Department of Public Safety report.
The report said Davis was not wearing his seatbelt.
