Police have identified some of the victims in a pair of double homicides -- one involving a teenage girl -- early Friday in Dallas.
Detectives did not believe the two incidents were related, said Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse, police spokesman.
The first incident was reported at 12:45 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 9600 block Forest Lane near Interstate 635, also called the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, in far north Dallas.
The victims were Demetris Anton Tillis, 24, and the teenage girl whose name had not yet been released Friday morning. The girl appeared to be "around 15 years old," Janse said.
A roommate returned to the apartment and found both people shot to death, said Sgt. Gil Cerda, another police spokesman.
Witnesses told police that the two people were a couple.
The second incident was reported by a woman, at about 1:10 a.m. at a home in the 2800 block of Cleveland Street in the Pleasant Grove area of southeast Dallas, according to reports.
The victims were Rodrick Green, 24, and Charles Cancel, 24, Cerda said.
Earlier reports indicated that one of the men was stabbed to death, but detectives said later that both of them had been shot.
"We've had other calls there indicating this was a drug house," Cerda said.
Detectives were questioning people in both cases, but no motives and no arrests were reported Friday morning.
