A police chase in Richardson at about 11 a.m. Tuesday resulted in one man going to the hospital under police guard, police said.
Although the chase was in Richardson, it was undercover officers from Dallas who were involved in the chase, said Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse, police spokesman.
He explained that the officers were watching a man who backed a vehicle into their car in the 9100 block of Weatherred Drive. It is near the intersection with Nottingham Drive
Janse said he did not know why the officers were watching the man, but a chase ensued.

"It ended at Greenville Avenue and Centennial Boulevard where the suspect wrecked his car," Janse said.
The man was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, Janse said. He added that he heard other people were in the man's car and they may have also been hurt.
