ARLINGTON -- Campus police at the University of Texas at Arlington say they have a suspect in an attack on a professor the evening of April 9.
Assistant Chief Rick Gomez said Thursday that based on a tip, a warrant for the arrest of a 15-year-old has been issued.
The name of the suspect is being withheld because he is a juvenile and also because he is still at large.
Gomez said the boy is suspected of punching a professor in the face about 8:30 p.m. on April 9 outside of Nedderman Hall.

Gomez said the juvenile has been ruled out as a suspect in a knife attack at 2:45 a.m. the next day.
In that attack, a man said a person speaking with a French accent asked for change and then attacked him with a knife.
There was a struggle during which the assailant dropped the knife and fled.
