ARLINGTON -- A young woman thrown from a speeding motorcycle when it struck a car April 7, died Saturday afternoon in a Fort Worth hospital.
The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified her as Heather Elise Hill, 22, of Arlington.
She died of injuries she received when she was thrown from a motorcycle about 6:20 p.m. April 7 in the 7800 block of U.S. 287 near Turner-Warnell Road.
The motorcycle was driven by Frank McQuade, 27, of Arlington.

McQuade's condition is unknown.
Police said the motorcycle was racing with another motorcycle at speeds above 100 mph when it struck the rear of a dark green sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.
Arlington police have asked for the public's help in finding the sedan's driver.
Police said the driver does not appear at fault in the crash but that he or she left without stopping to help.
The sedan's rear bumper is being held as evidence.
Investigators believe that the vehicle will have damage to the roof from the crash.
