Nicky Austin, manager of the Arlington and Mansfield offices of Ebby Halliday, REALTORS®, is excited to announce the addition of Kelsey Hicks and Mike Austin to the Arlington office.
Kelsey Hicks is life-long resident of Arlington and is a graduate of Arlington High School. She has a degree from Texas Tech in Computer Aided Design. Her four years of experience in real estate plus previous work experience in foundation inspection, technology and teaching high school in Mansfield, makes her an invaluable asset to her clients.
“My personal and professional experience, as well as knowledge of the surrounding areas, gives me a real advantage as an agent. I am a teacher at heart, and pride myself on making sure that my clients are as educated as I am when it comes to the biggest purchase they will ever make. I get just as excited as they do,” stated Hicks.
Mike Austin was born and raised in Arlington, where he currently lives with his wife, Nicky, and their two children. He is a former educator and football/baseball coach with Arlington High School. In 2008, Austin made a natural transition into real estate. He utilizes his past education experience by becoming a student of the market.

“Real estate is a continuously changing industry. Much like preparing for a sporting event, I look for tendencies, trends and signs of market shifts. Being ahead of the market changes gives my clients a competitive advantage. I can help them to be proactive instead of having to react to conditions,” says Austin.
He has given back to the community through his involvement at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Texas Health – Arlington Memorial Hospital, Arlington Margarita Society, Leadership Arlington, AWARE Foundation, Optimist Club of Arlington and others.
“I feel like it is essential to give back in a community where I live. As a real estate professional, it is my responsibility to continue to make North Texas a great place to invest. I am proud to be a member of the ‘Ebby Family,’” he added.
