Her co-star in that 2004 series was none other than Amy Lindsay, the actress who appeared in a Ted Cruz ad that was later pulled because she had adult films in her past.
In the Cinemax show, Hendra and Lindsay, who both grew up in the Houston area, played best friends who start a matchmaking service. Hendra, 45, said she doesn’t consider Black Tie Nights, or any of the films she appeared in, pornography. Yes, she appeared naked in love scenes, “but what actress hasn’t,” she told The Real Mr. Housewife blog. And, she added: “I did that series before I was married. It’s part of my journey. I own it.”
Lindsay, 49, who has appeared in soft-core films but also mainstream shows such as Star Trek: Voyager, recently told CNN she has endorsed Donald Trump. ‘I like what he stands for,” she said in a March interview. “As I was having this adventure of the last couple weeks, people are really attacking him and lying about him, and I know how that feels.”
