Panther City BBQ moves to indoor service

Hey, Bud! Is the line for Panther City BBQ indoors now?

—Confused guy outside Panther City BBQ

Panther City BBQ, 201 E. Hattie St. or 201 E. Pennsylvania Ave. (depending on the map), started with outdoor line service and dining next door inside an air-conditioned bar, where patrons gobbled up ribs and cups of “brisket elote.”

Now, the line is inside, and seating is both indoor and outdoor.

Since Panther City was ranked one of Texas’ top 10 in Texas Monthly, it took over the adjacent Republic Street Bar.
