Hey, Bud! What was that restaurant you mentioned on Eagle Mountain Lake? Not Flight — farther north.

—Ed, Fort Worth

That would be Texas Pit BBQ, a Saginaw mainstay with a new location at Lakeview Marina on Peden Road near Eagle Mountain Park. It's open Thursday through Sunday nights, and at lunch Saturday and Sunday; 6680 Peden Road.

Hey, Bud! Daddy was eating at Trailboss Burgers in the Stockyards and said you should try their Herd Burger.

—Darla, Fort Worth

I'm over my burger quota for the week, but the Herd Burger is a half-pounder. But I'd order the catfish basket with crinkle fries. (If you're in the Stockyards, don't miss a Hookers Grill burger with onions or jalapenos mashed into the beef.)

Hey, Bud! I read where Taste N See Chicken & Waffles is moving into the old Cafe Brazil near TCU. Where was that?

—Brenda, Fort Worth

For now, Taste N See Chicken & Waffles is still open Thursday through Sunday at 3329 Altamesa Blvd., east of McCart Avenue. About June 1, it's moving into the Grandmarc at Westberry apartments. (Cafe Brazil, once a go-to coffeehouse in Dallas, started with equipment problems in Fort Worth and never quite found its footing.)
