Super Bowl LII is essentially a no-win situation for Dallas Cowboys fans.
If the defending champion New England Patriots win, they’ll capture their sixth title, breaking a deadlock for most wins with the the five-time Super Bowl champion Cowboys..
If the Philadelphia Eagles win … well, it will be the Eagles’ first-ever Super Bowl championship, which is a nauseating thought to any diehard fan of America’s Team.
The game, which has a scheduled kickoff time of 5:30 p.m. CST Sunday, is a rematch of 2005’s Super Bowl XXXIX, when the Patriots beat the Eagles, 24-21.
Regardless of what you think of the teams, the game is still basically a national holiday centered around watching the action (and the commercials), be it at a house party or one of the watch parties around DFW.
