Celebrate the season in miraculous fashion at Miracle in Cowtown, a New York City-based pop-up bar set to make its second appearance at Proper on Magnolia come Black Friday.
The concept began five years ago when a New York City bar owner halted construction of his anticipated new East Village space to transform it into a winter wonderland of holiday cheer - complete with the most Christmas-y of cocktails.
Now the “Miracle” pops up at bars around the world - more than 90 total this year.

At Miracle in Cowtown, patrons can expect nostalgic holiday decor and intricate hand-crafted cocktails of the potent variety. Favorites include the Snowball Old Fashioned with butterscotch rye, spiced simple syrup and orange zest, and newcomers like the Christmas Carol Barrel with aged rum, and the frothy, tequila-based And a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Cocktails are served in ornate custom glassware, from mugs and coupes to highballs and rocks glasses. The glassware is available for purchase and 10 percent of select glassware sales will benefit Action Against Hunger.
While New York City bartenders created the recipes, it’s Proper bartender-owner Lisa Little-Adams and her team that are tasked with crafting the labor-intensive libations here in Fort Worth.
“It was such an amazing experience that we decided to do it again,” says Little-Adams. “There are some brand new cocktails and some similar favorites from last year.”
Miracle in Cowtown will run November 23 through December 31.
