There’s drama over George Strait’s Fort Worth show, and people are not happy.

If you were hoping to buy tickets to George Strait’s show, you might be out of luck.

Fans hoping to see the country music star’s show were sorely disappointed when tickets sold out within 30 minutes on Friday.

Last week, promoters announced Strait will play at the 14,000 seat Dickies Arena in Fort Worth in November 2019. Tickets were originally being sold for $19.82 to $250 each.

When ticket sales began, however, many found themselves in a queue thousands of people long.

Wanna-be concertgoers said scalpers cleared out the tickets and have been selling them for quadruple the price. On third-party sites, tickets on the farthermost rim of the arena were selling for $200 to $300, with stage tickets going for thousands of dollars.

Many took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with TicketMaster, the online site selling the tickets.
