By May, when we first wrote about mega-popular K-pop band BTS’ two shows at the Fort Worth Convention Center, the shows (announced in April) had long sold out. That was at face values of $60-$250.
But fans who really want to go will pay more. In May, we found tickets for as high as $6,700 on the ticket-exchange site StubHub, as well as tickets clearing the thousand-dollar mark on similar sites.
So ... what are tickets going for now, and how do they compare with other events? A quick rundown of prices as of Tuesday, Sept. 11:

Face value: $60-$250
StubHub: Highest price we found was $683 per ticket (by the time you read this, those two tickets may be gone; there were 57 $650 tickets left at this writing). Either someone snatched up those $6,700 tickets or the price went way down.
Other sites: Seatgeek’s price for a general admission floor ticket went as high as $2,629. VividSeats had tickets as high as $1,672. Viagogo’s top price was $1,080 — and the ticket supply was draining even as we looked at the site.
Beyonce and Jay-Z (Sept. 11, AT&T Stadium)
Face value: With a 7:30 p.m. show time Tuesday at the biggest venue in DFW, the biggest star in the universe and her husband still had tickets available on Ticketmaster at nearly 4 p.m. Tuesday. Cheapest were $45. Under best seats, a couple of “verified resale” tickets were going for — gulp — $8,000.01 (hope you can clear that extra penny!) apiece. Plus fees. Most “best seat” tickets were in the three-figure range, as low as $180 and many around $320.
StubHub: Highest price we found was $565.25, two and a half hours before show time. Likely there were higher prices earlier.
Other sites: Highest price we found on VividSeats: $309. Viagogo: $296, and tickets were practically disappearing as we looked at the site.
Dallas Cowboys vs, New York Giants (Sept. 16, AT&T Stadium)
Face value: On Ticketmaster, a general-admission ticket was as low as $31. But under “best seats,” we found many four-figure verified-resale tickets, the highest at $2,778. And this was for two teams that have not exactly been stellar of late.
StubHub: Highest price we found under “best seats” was $1,786 apiece for two Club Hall of Fame seats.
Other sites: Topped out at $1,380 on VividSeats. SeatGeek had a lot of four-figure prices, the highest being $2,500 piece for front-row seats behind the Cowboys bench and close to midfield.
‘Game of Thrones’ Live Concert Experience Featuring Ramin Djawadi (Sept. 16, American Airlines Center)
Face value: Djawadi, the composer for the HBO series “Game of Thrones” as well as many movies, conducts an orchestra playing music from the series. The show also features clips from the upcoming season seven. Ticketmaster prices start at $20; click on “best seats” and find them as high as $565.79, but there are a lot for just under $100 (before fees push them back over $100).
StubHub: Highest price we found was $190.
Other sites: VividSeats tops out at $526. Viagogo’s highest was $295.
