Add to that an Arlington-based fest:The CFW Festival — the CFW stands for craft beer, food and wine — is set for April 13-14 at Globe Life Park.
The setup will include over 30 craft beer vendors, restaurants and wineries in pop-up booths to go along with “Experience CFW” tents that feature chef-inspired cooking demonstrations every hour and celebrity chef appearances.
The food-and-beverage lineup is to be announced, but we know about an impressive live music lineup: Headliners include modern-rock group Young the Giant and self-described “R&B/singer-songwriter/soul/electronic” artist R.LUM.R on Friday and country acts the Josh Abbott Band and Lonestar on Saturday.
“We are thrilled to host the inaugural CFW Festival at Globe Life Park this April,” Mark Neifeld, vice president of events for the Texas Rangers, said in a release. “Our musical lineup is fantastic, and it promises to be a great two days of food, drink, entertainment and fun in the epicenter of the DFW Metroplex.”
Event hoursare 5–11 p.m. April 13, and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. April 14.
The CFW Festival's tickets are wristbands that also serve as currency that are loaded with a credit card (no cash at purchase points). Prices are $49.99 for event access and $11.99 for children. VIP wristbands one experience at the “Experience CFW” tents and VIP accommodations are $149.99.
