Indigo Yoga grows with the flow

Yoga has been one of the hottest fitness trends of the last decade, and that’s been good for Indigo Yoga, which celebrated its 10th anniversary recently with a move to a larger space. The 4,800-square-foot Baptiste Affiliate studio — in the former site of Fazeke’s Fitness on Pershing Street on Fort Worth’s west side — can accommodate as many as 150 practitioners on their mats at one time. Other amenities: fully furnished men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers, custom wood flooring in the studio, yoga mat storage, and a retractable glass studio door that can split the single space into two for simultaneous classes. But the features that founder Brooke Hamblet gushes about are the two roll-up glass doors along the studio wall, which can provide students in the indoor studio the experience and energy of the outdoors. In conjunction with the anniversary, Indigo is offering a new meditation series, as well as additional classes for those of all skill levels. Unlimited classes are $88 per month, and no contract is required. A “first free Wednesday” promotion offers every class for free on the first Wednesday of each month. 5111 Pershing St., Fort Worth, 817-735-9642, www.indigoyoga.net.
