FORT WORTH -- Eleven people were taken to hospitals Tuesday night after a Fort Worth T bus and a Nissan collided at the south end of downtown, officials said.
The wreck occurred about 7:20 p.m. at East Lancaster Avenue and Calhoun Street, police said.
The bus was traveling through a green light when it was struck, T spokeswoman Joan Hunter said.
The driver of the Nissan and 10 of the 28 passengers on the bus were taken to hospitals, she said, adding that none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Another bus was called, and the remaining passengers continued on their route about 45 minutes later.
The T and police will investigate, which is the usual procedure after a wreck, Hunter said.
