More snow in the forecast for Tuesday

Remember the days of parched grass and wildfire warnings? No more.

The National Weather Service is forecasting not only a 70 percent chance of rain this morning but also -- can you guess? -- more snow Tuesday.

"There are five or six computer models that we're looking at, and each one of them is giving us a different solution" for Tuesday, meteorologist Jesse Moore said.

The best bet for accumulation in the Fort Worth area is 1 to 3 inches along and south of Interstate 20. The amount will depend on the track of a system bringing Arctic air into the state, Moore said.

But "we will not see a repeat of the 12.5-inch record snowfall of February 11."

Between the probable rain and possible snow, the weather service predicts a partly sunny Monday with a high in the mid-40s.
