The West Seventh Street and Near Southside neighborhoods will be rocking to the sound of music all weekend for the 15th Annual Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards Festival.
In previous years, the festival took place on one day at clubs and bars along West Seventh Street. This year, it will be 2-10 p.m. in the Near Southside on Saturday and then 4-9 p.m. along West Seventh on Sunday.
The Southside venues are Boiled Owl Tavern, Chat Room Pub, the Live Oak, and Shipping and Receiving. Around West Seventh, it’s Fred’s, The Grotto, Lola’s Saloon, Lola’s Trailer Park and Magnolia Motor Lounge.
Performing are such notable local acts as Oil Boom, Reagan James, Pinkish Black, Sally Majestic, Un Chien, Katsuk, Ronnie Heart and Gollay.
Tickets are $7 per day at the door, $10 online. The event is held in conjunction with Fort Worth Weekly’s music awards. For more information, go to www.ticketfly.com.
