Billy Bob’s Texas is marking its 35th anniversary in November, and has invited one of its dearest friends to help celebrate.

Willie Nelson and Family will headline Billy Bob’s on Nov. 12, capping a weekend-long party that kicks off Nov. 10.

According to a statement from the venue, planned activities include a free, all-ages “Rodeo Plaza Party featuring live music, Texas cuisine, line dance lessons and activities for the kids.” Billy Bob’s states that further announcements about the anniversary celebration will be forthcoming.

Tickets for Nelson’s performance — the November gig will be his 54th appearance at the legendary Stockyards venue — go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Prices range from $20 for general admission tickets, up to $60-$100 for reserved seats.

“Over the past 35 years, I sort of grew up watching Willie play at Billy Bob’s,” said Concho Minick, president of Billy Bob’s Texas, in a statement. “He is inseparable from the history here. In terms of country music, it has always been Willie for me, so it’s the biggest honor to have him back again, especially on this occasion.”
