Background: Adams has an associate of applied science degree from Tarrant County College. He also took numerous technical courses during his 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force and at Tarrant County College. He has served on the council since 2000.
About the candidate: If re-elected, Adams said he would continue working to improve streets. He supports building a new fire station and building a trail to connect Watauga with North Richland Hills, Haltom City and Fort Worth. He wants to avoid raising the city tax rate.

About the candidate: If elected, Kimmerle said he would work to expand recreational opportunities in the city. He said he would also focus on fiscal responsibility.
