City Councilman Alan Hooks is running unopposed for mayor. He will replace Jace Preston, who is not running for re-election. Christy Pearson is unopposed for Place 1, replacing Gary Gage. Gage is unopposed for Place 3, Hooks' seat. Clara Henderson (Place 5) is the only candidate named on the ballot, but James Boyles has filed as a write-in candidate. Terms are two years and are unpaid.
