Still pondering Mother's Day? The Ritz-Carlton in Dallas has you covered. Travel TV

Life's A Trip, a new cultural immersion series on the Travel Channel, premieres at 10 and 10:30 p.m. Monday. Host Andrew Anthony tries pretty much everything, from the world's most expensive cuisine to tribal dances in New Zealand. Check your local listings for the channel.

Behind Beijing

If you can't make it to the Olympics in Beijing, you can see how the stadium was built at 8 p.m. Thursday on the National Geographic Channel. The Beijing Olympic Stadium has 42,000 tons of steel beams woven together like a bird's nest, and will seat 91,000 people. Check your local listings for the channel.
