Amelia Island, Florida, has a "Come Make Memories" campaign this fall to entice visitors. Among the offers: Ameila River Cruises will embark on a new "Christmas on the River" trip to Jekyll Island. Departing at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, the three-day, all-inclusive package includes a round-trip sail to Jekyll Island. The trip also includes a two-night stay at the Jekyll Club, movie and popcorn Friday evening, Saturday breakfast buffet, Sunday brunch and a private sunset dinner Saturday. Tickets are $900 for couples and $600 for single passengers. A non-refundable deposit of $180 is due no later than Nov.18 for couples and $120 for singles by the same date. When you’re not on the beach soaking in the rays on Ameila Island, visit the Fernandina Farmers Market, which placed second among 4,000 markets in a recent nationwide "Love Your Farmers Market" contest.
