Creature seekers

When you think about Jackson Hole in the Teton Mountain range, it usually revolves around skiing. But the Four Seasons Resort is offering a customized Private Wildlife Adventure that might entice those adventure vacationers among you. The package four-hour tour has plenty of creature comforts; you ride in a Cadillac Escalade equipped with Zeiss Spotting Scopes and Brunton binoculars that will enable you to spy on moose, bears, mountain lions and other wildlife.

What’s more, the resort’s chefs will prepare meals that are a little fancier than roasting a marshmallow over an open fire. And the package includes enrollment in the "Junior Ecologist" program for each child adventurer and a special equipment pack filled with tools designed just for them. These tours are available year-round; they begin at $300 and are conducted by a wildlife biologist. For more information, call 307-732-5000 or www.fourseasons.com/jacksonhole.
