Wreck throttles noon-hour traffic on I35W in Fort Worth

Two people received extensive injuries in a three-vehicle wreck during the noon hour Wednesday in south Fort Worth, a MedStar spokesman said Thursday.

The wreck throttled traffic for about an hour on northbound Interstate 35W at Felix Street.

A car was hit broadside by a tractor-trailer at about 12:36 p.m. Wednesday, stated an initial police report.

Two people were taken in critical condition to the hospital, the MedStar spokesman said. Their conditions on Thursday were unavailable.

Lanes of traffic reopened at about 1:35 p.m. Wednesday. No other information was immediately available on Thursday.
