FORT WORTH — Up to 20,000 people may swarm downtown Monday morning for a Get Motivated! seminar, creating potentially serious headaches for folks who work in the central business district.

Former President George W. Bush is among the scheduled speakers.

The city put out a traffic advisory Thursday, warning that parking lots and garages may fill much quicker than normal. Commuters are encouraged to consider leaving early for work, carpooling and perhaps even riding a bus or bike.

The city’s advisory didn’t say this, but bosses might want to go easy on workers who show up a bit late. — Gordon Dickson
