Cowboys Stadium cost nearing $1 billion, Arlington says

With two successful concerts in the books and the finishing touches under way, the bill for Cowboys Stadium is closing in on $1 billion.

Costs reached $997 million as of June 25, according to the city of Arlington. The stadium budget is $1.15 billion.

The Cowboys made 20 payments totaling more than $1.5 million for turnstiles, concession carts, office furniture, televisions, suite furniture and landscape design, among others. The largest payment was $31.2 million to Manhattan Construction Co.
