It is interesting that the Cowboys signed safety C.J. Spillman just in time for the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

Spillman, a special teams ace and backup safety, was with the 49ers since 2010 before being cut on Saturday and signed by the Cowboys.

Certainly the 49ers will have a unique game plan for the Cowboys, but Spillman knows their tendencies and plans to share with his new coaches and teammates.

“I’m not going to indulge right now,” Spillman said with smile. “Let’s wait to until Sunday. But I practiced against them all the time. I know what they are doing. I know what to expect.”
