The Cowboys lost several players during the scrimmage: Receiver Dezmon Briscoe left with a concussion; safety Barry Church left with an ankle injury; safety Jakar Hamilton left with a possbible concussion after being hit in the jaw.
Defensive end George Selvie said he has a minor groin injury, which prevented him from doing team work. He said he would be good to go Monday.
“Man, it’s nothing,” Selvie said. “Just taking precaution. I’m good. I’ve just been out here working it out a little bit.”
Linebacker Rolando McClain felt cramping in his left hamstring, cutting his day short.
“My hamstring just got tight,” McClain said. “We don’t want to injure anything right now. Shut it down. Try to get it calmed down. …It’ll be short term, but it’s frustrating not being able to go out there with the rest of the guys. I don’t think I was going to do the live period, but it would have been nice to finish everything else up I was supposed to do.”
The Cowboys had 11 defenders who didn’t dress out Sunday, including cornerbacks Brandon Carr (death in the family) and Morris Claiborne (knee).
