Wide receiver Terrance Williams once played with a cast on his broken hand, so playing with a broken left index finger is nothing.
“I caught with it today,” Williams said Tuesday.
Williams said the finger hurts – “it hurts bad” -- but not enough to keep him out of the Thanksgiving Day game. He is wearing a splint on the tip and will cover it with a glove. He also expects to take a pain-killing injection.
Williams said he broke his hand as a junior at Baylor and played despite wearing a cast.
Never miss a local story.
Defensive lineman Jack Crawford and safety Jeff Heath both underwent successful surgeries Tuesday to repair broken thumbs. Neither is expected to play Thursday.
