Tennessee (2-7) at Jacksonville (3-6)
7:25 p.m. Thursday, NFL Network
Line: Jaguars by 3
The cynical NFL fan might posit the most interesting feature of this AFC South matchup will be the color display: Titans in all powder blue, Jaguars in gold head to toe. No matter how Nike tries to dress it up, it’s not likely to be pretty, even though these teams aren’t out of it in their dismal division. The Jags and their 24th-ranked pass defense might have their hands full with Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota, who has thrown 10 of his 13 touchdown passes this season on the road with no interceptions and has a 98.3 passer rating overall, ninth in the league. Jacksonville has won two of its last three, and it beat Tennessee in a Thursday night game last December. The Jags boast a solid receiving duo in Allen Robinson (45 receptions, 758 yards, seven TDs) and Allen Hurns (41, 697, seven), but the Titans’ pass defense is third in the league.
