About the Warriors: Golden State is out of sync, having lost four of eight games. That includes a home loss to Cleveland (103-94) on March 12, a home loss on March 22 to a San Antonio Spurs team (99-90) that rested stars Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, and a home loss to the New York Knicks (89-84) on Sunday. ... The Warriors will be without center Andrew Bogut, who sustained a groin contusion Friday against Memphis. ... Forward David Lee has missed the past two games with a strained right hamstring and might not play. .. Golden State signed center/forward Hilton Armstrong to a 10-day contract on Sunday. Armstrong had been playing in Santa Cruz with the Warriors’ D-League team. ... The Warriors are led by Stephen Curry (23.7 points, 8.4 assists per game) and Klay Thompson (18.1 ppg), two of the game’s best shooters.

About the Mavericks: Dallas is 4-3 entering the finale of a team record eight-game homestand, with two of the losses — to Minnesota and Brooklyn — in overtime. ... Dallas struggled past Sacramento, 103-100, on Saturday behind 19 points from Dirk Nowitzki. ... The Mavericks open a four-game road trip Thursday in Los Angeles against the Clippers. They’ll remain in LA to play the Lakers on Friday before playing in Sacramento on Sunday and in Utah on April 8. ... Tuesday’s game is key for tiebreaker purposes. The Mavericks are 1-2 against the Warriors this season.
