After Wednesday’s game, the Mavs will break for the All-Star Game. … Dirk Nowitzki is the lone Mavericks representative in the All-Star festivities. … Coming out of the break, the Mavs’ first game is Tuesday at home against the two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat. … The Mavericks have dropped four of their last five meetings against the Pacers. … Dallas lost its two games to the Pacers last season, and it wasn’t even close. Indiana won at home over the Mavericks 103-83, and then won in Dallas 103-78. … The Mavericks have lost 14 of their past 20 games against Indiana. … The Mavericks could be in sixth place in the West at the All-Star break.
