The Bobcats are last in the NBA in scoring (89.2 points per game), but third in fewest points allowed (91.8 ppg). ... The Bobcats were 0-16 all-time against the Mavs until Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had 25 points and 12 rebounds during a 101-97 overtime Charlotte victory on Nov. 10 last year. ... Kemba Walker leads the Bobcats with 16.6 ppg and 4.1 apg, Al Jefferson averages 15.8 ppg and 8.4 rpg, Gerald Henderson averages 14.5 ppg, and Kidd-Gilchrist averages 9.3 ppg.
About the Mavericks: Dallas is in a funk, having lost four of its past five games. That includes blowing a 17-point lead in the third quarter and losing at Atlanta on Friday, 88-87. They followed that with a 112-106 loss at home to Minnesota on Saturday. ...
