TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin has been named to the preseason watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. It is presented to the nation’s most outstanding offensive player who was either born in Texas, graduated from a state high school or plays at a Texas university.

Boykin, a junior, was the first player in TCU history and the only player in the nation last season with a 100-yard rushing game, 100-yard receiving game and 200-yard passing game.
