Tonight’s Rangers-Astros lineups: Michael Choice starting in center

After impressive showing Monday, Rougned Odor gets first start vs. lefty.

Minute Maid Park is home to a spacious center field, but that didn’t stop manager Ron Washington from putting rookie Michael Choice there and giving Leonys Martin a day off his feet as the designated hitter.

Choice is making his third start in center this season.

Washington thought about giving Mitch Moreland a second straight day in the field, but opted not to with the Astros starting a left-hander. But Rougned Odor will be in tonight’s lineup for his first start against a lefty.

Odor is coming off a big night with his first RBI hit and first home run. And, of course, catching a ball in his jersey.
