It took Elvis Andrus less than a week from being dropped in the lineup to regain his offensive stroke.
Andrus has multiple hits in his two games since returning to the two-hole and is looking to carry that forward.
Manager Ron Washington summed up Andrus’ importance in that spot, saying: “It’s evertyhing to us. I’m happy to see him getting back to being Elvis.”
Robbie Ross, meanwhile, hopes to follow suit and get back on track against the Red Sox. Ross has struggled his past two starts, allowing six earned runs in each of them, but remains confident he’ll figure it out.
