Jurickson Profar is back on the injury report.

The Rangers second baseman was scratched from today’s game with recurring right shoulder soreness. He has been sent for an MRI exam. Adam Rosales will start at second base in his place.

Profar has been dealing with this issue most of spring training, but had returned to the field in the past week with the expectation that he’d be ready by Opening Day. That is now in question.

In other injury news:

• First baseman/ designated hitter Mitch Moreland (tight left oblique) is set to take at-bats in minor league games tonight.
• Shortstop Elvis Andrus (right forearm soreness) is throwing out to 90 feet and is expected to play the field during the exhibition series against the Astros in San Antonio next week.
• Outfielder Shin-Soo Choo (left elbow soreness) is throwing out to 120 feet and is expected to play left field before the season begins.
