Matt Harrison threw a 35-40 pitch live batting practice today and is very encouraged with the results. He threw from the stretch and the windup, threw all of his pitches and faced hitters for the first time in almost seven months.
“I’ve been ready since 7:15 a.m.,” Harrison said. “It’s nice to face hitters again. It was fun.”
Next for Harrison is a touch-and-feel bullpen session and then pitching in a ‘B’ game Tuesday against the Royals.
