After a week of workouts and practices, games are set to get underway in spring training. The Rangers have their first intrasquad game scheduled for today at 1:30 p.m. on the Nolan Ryan Field at the Surprise Recreation Campus. They will play another intrasquad game on Tuesday.
Yu Darvish, Tommy Hanson, Justin Germano, Shawn Tolleson, Ryan Feierabend, Miles Mikolas and Aaron Poreda are scheduled to pitch for the “home team.” Nate Adcock, Cory Burns, Wilmer Font, Lisalverto Bonilla, Pedro Figueroa and Armando Rodriguez will throw for the “visiting team.”
Tuesday’s game is set to feature Colby Lewis, Jason Frasor, Robbie Ross, Neftali Feliz, Nick Tepesch and Matt West on the “home team,” and Jose Contreras, Neal Cotts, Joakim Soria, Alexi Ogando, Michael Kirkman and Martin Perez on the “visiting team.”
No games are scheduled for Wednesday and Cactus League play begins on Thursday. Darvish will start that game for the Rangers, and Alexi Ogando is scheduled to start on Friday.
