The search for a new football head coach at Southlake Carroll continues following Monday night's Carroll school district board meeting.
A closed-door discussion on the search for a new head football coach, and possibly other aspects of the Dragons' athletic department, were on Monday's agenda for the board of trustees.
There was no new information released after nearly four hours in executive session.
The next school board meeting is scheduled for March 26.
Never miss a local story.
Before the buyout, Wasson had been on administrative leave since Jan. 24, when Carroll superintendent David Faltys said in an email letter to Dragon Football Families that the district had determined there was a need to conduct an internal review of the program.
The report, which was sent to the UIL on Feb. 16, was conducted by Carroll athletic director Darren Allman, assistant superintendents and the human resources department.
