Jacoby Cloud threw two touchdown passes in the second half, helping Fort Worth Wyatt to roll past Fort Worth North Side 49-17 in a District 7-5A game Thursday night at Clark Stadium.
Cloud connected with Barry Handy for a 29-yard score midway through the third quarter, then found Tyriece Hickman for a 40-yard touchdown just before the end of the quarter.
The Chaparrals (4-5, 4-1 District 7-5A) scored 28 unanswered points to close out the game.
Cloud threw for 121 yards and ran for 49 as the Chaparrals rushed for 357 yards.

Javonte Adams led the attack with 149 yards on six carries, including an 87-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter to give Wyatt the lead for good at 14-10.
The Chaparrals trailed 10-0 in the first quarter before scoring 21 straight points just before halftime. Cameron Randle rushed for a 40-yard score late in the first, and Marquise Jordan scored from the 3 late in the second.
Zavion Parker added a 3-yard score and Broderick Murphy returned an interception for a 25-yard touchdown in the fourth.
The Steers (3-7, 0-6) cut their deficit to four early in the third quarter when Johnny Aviles connected with Tariq McCain from 12 yards, but North Side wouldn’t get any closer.
Aviles and McCain connected once before, a 9-yard score in the first quarter that put the Steers up by 10.
Aviles finished with 178 yards passing and two touchdowns.
McCain finished with five receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
