TCU opens Big 12 hoops season against West Virginia

The Horned Frogs will play their home games at Wilkerson-Greines during renovations at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

TCU opens the Big 12 basketball season by hosting West Virginia on Jan. 3, the school announced Thursday. The Horned Frogs will play their home games at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center while Daniel-Meyer Coliseum undergoes renovations.

All games will be televised on ESPN or Fox.

TCU returns four starters from last seasons team, which went 9-22 and 0-18 in the conference.

TCU’s road contest at Texas on Wednesday, Feb. 11 will be shown on the Longhorn Network.

All game times and television plans for TCU’s remaining games, including its non-conference slate, will be announced at a later date.

Jan. 3 vs. West Virginia

Jan. 7 at Kansas State, 8 p.m.

Jan. 10 vs. Baylor, 3 p.m.

Jan. 17 at Texas Tech

Jan. 19 vs. Texas, 6 p.m.

Jan. 28 vs. Kansas, 8 p.m.
